I should be doing my homework
There is a program called Artrage. It emulates traditional media better than painter and, given the lack of pretense, is, I think, admirable. If you developed this program, my cheers go to you because youre an art STUD. Its got some innovative palette layout also that might not work with a more complicated program but for quick studies is great. The full version costs only 25$ and you can download the trial at www.artrage.com/artrage.html . I dont think it is the best choice for finished work, but its fun as hell to sketch with. You should all check it out!
P.S. The pencil tool is the best, I think: makes you feel like Picasso.

Niezwyciezony
II Class Battlecruiser Invincible lands on planet 3 of Regis system to investigate the disappearance of another vessel from earth, identical in class to the Invincible. The last transmission received from the lost ship was also the only one after the landing report: it was a cacophonous tangle of sounds, "like cats being pulled by their tail".
